Screenshot-handbook-management-systems

The rapidly changing environment within which national statistical systems and national statistical organizations (NSOs) operate highlight the importance of the need to transform and modernise so that these data systems and NSOs maintain a national statistical capacity that is fit for purpose, including for collection and disseminating migration related information. This changing environment and emerging innovative technologies also reinforce the importance of NSO leadership, coordination, communication and dialogue through institutional and organizational reforms.

The fourth edition of this Handbook on Management and Organization of National Statistical Systems aims to guide chief statisticians, senior managers, and staff members of statistical organizations to develop and maintain national statistical capacity and provides guidance and informs statistical organizations on critical issues and topics, including new and emerging ones while acknowledging the diversity and specificity of national contexts.
