Disclaimer
The indicator is calculated by subtracting the value for the native population from the foreign-born population. Data are based on harmonized census data provided by IPUMS-International. We group data according to census-rounds which cover 10-year periods. This was necessary to display more countries at one time point. Data for 2010 covers all available censuses conducted between 2005 and 2014. The 2000 census round covers all available censuses conducted between 1995 and 2004, and so forth.
