Dorottya Szekely

Former intern at GMDAC / Graduate from Munk School of Global Affairs and Public Policy

Dorottya Szekely recently graduated from the Master of Global Affairs at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy with a specialization in Human Rights & Global Justice. She has spent extensive time working with refugees in Toronto’s newcomer settlement sector, as well as volunteering with asylum-seekers in Paris, France. Dorottya’s main interests include migration and the environment, and she is passionate about climate justice, gender equality and migrant rights. Formerly, Dorottya was an intern with the Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC). At GMDAC, she supported migration data collection, dissemination, and use. Dorottya is also a Harney Graduate Research Fellow and holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.
