The African Union Institute for Statistics (STATAFRIC) and IOM's Global Migration Data Analysis Centre (GMDAC) organized a webinar on "Migration data in times of COVID-19: Trends and policy implications in Africa" on 11 November 2020. Presenters from the AU, OECD and IOM as well as key donors provided an overview of key migration data sources in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, with a focus on migration data challenges and policy implications particular to the African Union.
